  1. from the starting moment on, undertakings like this blog, slowly become a chore and fizzle away in a month or two. In our case, this is as pleasurable as it was the first time we wrote something. It is true for me as I am sure it is true for Ken, each topic we delve into produces questions and ideas for at least three more topics. I think we learned as much as we tried to teach, we tried to be as open and as simple as possible. This is very important, since we are not trying to show how erudite we are but we are trying to share how much or how little we know about what we write. My only regret at the first milestone is how few queries we have received. Those who wrote to us have our thanks and gratitude and those who visited the blog without joining the discussion have our sincere thanks. We would love to hear from you.

I am looking forward to the next set of musical adventures. As usual our plans are vague and likely to change. As two voracious listeners of all kinds of music, it is easy to run into the unexpected and it is fun to chase down the reasons behind it. It has been a very satisfying experience for me; thank you Ken it is a pleasure to work with you. And thanks to our readers.
